This program is the ultimate in high level training and verbal control.  A protection dog is not a mean and vicious dog that wants to attack everything that moves, rather a dog that will put his life on the line to protect his handler and/or family if the need arises.

 

All dogs entering this program are tested for stability, temperment, confidence, reaction to particular situations and must be social towards people, children and other dogs.  Not all dogs qualify for this program.  Covers:  Basic and advanced obediance work; Protection work includes quiet alert, aggressive alert, send and call-out, at which point the dog automatically returns to handler position.  All behaviors are performed off-lease.  Real life protection situations are practiced.
